CHALLENGE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES


Types of Challenges

HoReCaN welcomes challenge submissions for physical gatherings and virtual challenges, centred around Italian enogastronomy in its various aspects worldwide. On acceptance, both types of challenges will be promoted on HoReCaN 's website and affiliated platforms.

 

Focus and Theme

All challenge proposals must have a clear focus on Italian enogastronomy. Challenges can explore elements such as the mixology, regional cuisine, culinary art, wine & beer tasting, contemporary gastronomy, cultural adaptations, future trends, and more.

 

Target Audience

Challenges co-branded with HoReCaN can be aimed at a diverse audience, including Italian nationals, their descendants, travellers, students, food lovers, gastronomy trainers, but the focus must always be Italian enogastronomy.

 

Submission Process

Challenge organisers are invited to submit challenge proposals by filling out the submission form below. The form should include essential details, a brief description, and any relevant supporting documents.

 

Intellectual Property Rights

By submitting an challenge proposal, organisers grant HoReCaN the right to promote and share the challenge on its website and affiliated platforms. However, the intellectual property rights of the challenge's content and presentations remain with the organisers.

 

Number of Proposals

Organisers, including HoReCaN Ambassadors, are encouraged to submit multiple challenge proposals throughout the year. There are no limitations on the number of submissions from individual organisers or organisations.

 

Review and Notification

Upon receiving the challenge proposal, HoReCaN will review the submission for alignment with the theme of Italian enogastronomy. Challenge organisers will be notified of the acceptance or rejection within 7 to 14 days of submission. The decision of the Review Panel is final.

Please provide the following information as a minimum and more if you wish. Please note that our Review Panel can only base their decision on what you submit.
